Warren Community Board

Warren’s Community Advisory Board is a committed group of individuals with a passion for Warren’s mission and programming. We are committed to being a diverse and inclusive community that helps advise, advocate, and support Warren’s strategic direction and mission delivery.

Recruitment for board members is an annual process. Warren’s Executive Director and Board Development Committee work to help recruit and onboard new board members. We are looking to connect with individuals who have the following areas of expertise and experiences:

  • Work in racial equity in the outdoors 
  • Mental health 
  • Risk management
  • Multicultural youth development, leadership, and education
  • Fundraising development
  • Natural resource management / environmental conservation
Warren Board Member Responsibilities

Board terms often begin at the summer board meeting and individuals serve a three-year term, with the option of a second term. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting fundraising efforts
  • Committee participation
  • Summer bus stop support
  • Attend monthly meetings
  • Financial commitment to our annual fund
Committees and Sub-Committees

Warren’s Board is supported and informed by a number of committees and sub-committees. We welcome participation in our committees from board members as well as staff, campers, and community members. Serving on a committee is a great volunteer opportunity and allows individuals to become more familiar with Warren, before joining the Board.
