Students from Minneapolis South High School’s All Nations Program came to Widjiwagan for the second time in mid-October.  The entire Widji staff had a terrific time getting to know the students and sharing Widji’s program with them.  Over their 3 days at Camp, students spent time canoeing, hiking, exploring the bog and a beaver pond and learning about orienteering.  Here are a variety of comments the students shared with us about their experience:

“I met new friends and reconnected back with old friends.”

“I enjoyed being outside way more than I thought I would.  I was worried about being away from technology but I had fun here without technology.”

“I liked being closer to nature and I liked bonding with my group.”

“I learned how good life can be when you just admire nature and the beauty in it without all the technology that is usually around.”
