Over the course of the 2015 summer the Menogyn staff and Crown Construction began scheming and prepping to replace the Winds camper cabins. As summer shifted to fall and the final campers of the season headed south, the cabins that were supposed to be temporary 30 years ago were torn down as timbers were cut and footings poured. MEA Weekend saw a team of volunteers and members of the Menogyn Board raise the frames and by the time next summer’s first campers arrive we’ll have two brand new and very classy three season timber framed styled cabins for the hard working Engage work campers! We owe Steve Anderson a huge round of applause for organizing the on the ground logistics of tearing down, and raising up the respective Winds Cabins.
