Spots are still available for the Men’s Weekend January 21-24. Gather some buddies and spend a weekend up north! Spend the weekend cross-country skiing on the North Arm trails, snowshoeing through the forest, and ice-fishing on Burntside Lake. Evening speakers include Natalie Warren – one of two women that were the first to paddle from Minneapolis to Hudson Bay, and Andy Ruhland – head brewer at Bad Weather Brewing Company in St. Paul. No winter trip to du Nord is complete without an authentic Finnish sauna and avantouinti (ice-hole swimming).
Send the kids to the Grandparents! The Couple’s Getaway Weekend is March 10-13. You and your significant other can sign up for a cabin on your own, or gather some other couples and share a larger cabin at a discounted rate. The weekend includes guided ski trips and snowshoe adventures, as well as a candlelight dinner, sauna with avantouinti, sledding, yoga, and trivia night. We offer plenty of opportunities for you and your partner to explore du Nord on your own, or meet some new friends.
Winter at du Nord also features two Women’s Retreats, but they are already full! Stay tuned for more information on the Spring Women’s retreat April 28-May 1.
If you can’t make it to a programmed weekend, you can experience your own winter retreat! Cabins are available to reserve year-round – gather some friends or family and come on up. Du Nord has skis and snowshoes available to rent and ski trails and sledding hill are open as soon as we get enough snow. Come see us soon!
