A Summer Measured in Cheese: Update from the Tripping Center

Schreiber’s American Cheese Loaf punctuates historic trail lunch recipe. For decades,campers have eaten a trail lunch made up of the same core ingredients: GORP, peanut butter, raisins, crackers, summer sausage, and, you guessed it, cheese. The creamy, savory and hardy American cheese is a staple of summer at Widjiwagan and what better way to measure our progress this summer? To date, the tripping center has packed out 108 blocks, or 540 pounds, of Schreiber’s American. Needless to say, the tripping center has had an outstanding first part of summer!
