The risks inherent in the adventure and experiential education field require that organizations constantly assess their programs and stay up-to-date on the accepted industry standards. Through a series of presentations, workshops, and round table discussions, the Midwest Risk Management Symposium will provide a cost-effective avenue for the sharing of information in the areas of program administration, staff training, and field practices. We will utilize the experience and knowledge of leading industry professionals to present ideas, facilitate discussions, and be resources to those seeking the latest information on all facets of risk management.
YMCA Camps Manito-wish, Menogyn, and Widjiwagan are excited to host the 3rd Annual Midwest Risk Management Symposium. Please join us to develop relationships with your peers in the industry and to contribute to the advancement of appropriate risk management practices. The Symposium will be held at YMCA Camp Ihduhapi in Loretto, MN beginning with dinner and opening address on October 26, 2015. Symposium programming will continue on October 27th through the morning of October 28th, ending with our keynote panel in the early afternoon.
