Where does Prairie Burn Music Festival take place?

At Camp St. Croix on the North Property.

What time do the gates open?

Gates open at noon on Saturday, September 17th. 

What if it is raining?

In the event of inclement weather, the show will be interrupted, and resume again as soon as weather permits. Tickets are sold on a “rain or shine” basis, and no refunds will be given for delays or cancellations due to bad weather.

What is the lineup?

Can I bring a camera or recording device?

Heck yes you can. Share along with us at #prairieburn.  

Can I camp overnight?

Yes. See the camping page.

Can I stay in a cabin?


Can I bring in my own food or beverages?

No, with the exception of unopened or empty water bottles.

What about coolers and bags, can I bring them to the event?


Will there be any merchandise for sale at the event?

Yes. We will have camp apparel, artist merchandise, and wares from several outdoor/camp focused vendors available for purchase.

Are all the activities free?

Yes. Beside food, drink and merchandise, everything is free once you’re at the festival.

What should I leave at home?

Food and beverages 
Pets (Service dogs are permitted)

Are chairs provided?

No. You may bring blankets or chairs to sit on.

Are there reserved seats?

No. The stages are outside and guests sit and stand on the mowed lawn.

Is there parking available at Camp?


Can I leave my car overnight?

Yes, though camp is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

Do you have any disability accommodations?

Yes. Disabled guests are provided with parking spaces close to the event entrance and we have handicap accessible portable toilets. Still, terrain can be uneven so please come prepared.

Lost and found?

Yes. There will be a lost and found station but camp is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
