Teen Specialty Camps

Developing leadership qualities and abilities are important life-long ingredients. Our leadership camps develop the whole person — spirit, mind, and body — through a variety of service projects, hands-on activities, and team building exercises. Our leaders of tomorrow begin with our youth of today!

Teen Archery Camp

Teens entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2017

Campers discover the science behind drawing and releasing the bow while fine tuning their archery skills. Archery lessons take place at an on- and off-site location with professional archers. Instructors show campers the proper grip, stance, and aim alignment to use while approaching the target. Equipment will be provided.


Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2017

Teens rise to the challenge of Leaders-in-Training Camp and discover their leadership qualities. Participants will learn and develop camp skills needed to lead camper activities, including personal development through confidence building and responsibility management, as well as group development through activity planning and event organization. They’ll have opportunities to shadow counselors of younger campers and assist staff in their camp activities. There will also be plenty of time to hang out with friends – new and old. Come experience camp from a whole new perspective!

Teen Fishing Camp 

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2017

Don’t let this camp be “the one that got away!” Beautiful Lake Elmo, provides the scene for shoreline and boat fishing using the catch-and-release method. Bait is provided at camp, campers may bring their own tackle and pole.

Teen Arts & Drama Camp 

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2017

Campers unleash their inner star power in this camp! They’ll create trendy eco-art and do other fun craft projects. They’ll take to the stage to learn and perform music numbers, participate in improve and act up in theater skits, too. Plus, throughout the week, extra day camp activities keep their creative batteries well charged.
