Summer Power Specialty Programs are designed to give kids an opportunity to enjoy their favorite hobbies or explore new ones! A large portion of each day focuses on selected programming. The remaining time will be spent on traditional Summer Power activities such as swimming, games and theme-based activities.

Program-related field trips are included.

Program Hours: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Drop-off: 6:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.
Pick-up: 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Field Trips

Exciting themes guide weekly activities and field trips to keep kids engaged and learning new things.


Fee: $198/week

Registration Fee – A $50 non-refundable deposit is required per session. The deposit is applied to the session fee.


Science Explorations

Week of June 20

Hands-on science activities and investigations. Curious kids construct volcanoes, concoct slime, and conduct cool experiments. Science-related field trips add even more wonder to their days.

Cooking Creations

Week of June 27

Budding chefs learn how to prepare and measure ingredients for recipes that are sure to delight the taste buds! They’ll make mouth-watering main dishes and delicious desserts that everyone will enjoy.


Week of July 18

Kids who love water (and lots of it) find that Splash is their program! Each day features a new adventure in water fun including indoor and outdoor water games, water relays, and other activities. Splash kids visit local water park attractions—perfect for cooling off during warm summer days!

Feel the Rhythm (Dance!) New!

Week of July 11

Get ready to dance the week away! Children will stimulate their creativity through the art of movement and dance. Children will be introduced to a variety of dance styles, have the chance to explore creative movement and dance interpretation and work with their peers to create and teach their own dance routines. This is the perfect introduction to explore various dance styles and can help your young dancer find confidence and develop personally, physically and artistically.

Theater 101 NEW!

Week of July 25

Kids free their imaginations and develop improvisational skills! Young thespians explore the world of theater through games, acting and improvisation exercises, writing or illustrating stories, learning about stage make-up, designing costumes and performing before an audience.

Music, Beats AND Rhymes

Week of August 1

Aspiring musicians explore the world of music together. Young musicians of all skill levels have fun with musical games, camp songs, lyric writing, slam poetry and much more.

Adventures in Art

Week of August 8

Young artists will express their creativity as they work on a variety of craft projects and art pieces. Kids will enjoy painting, pottery, beadwork, and other projects they create and take home to share. Artists will explore the many facets of the exceptional art culture in the Twin Cities through a special field trip.

You Go Girl!

Week of August 15

You go girl! has something for every girl. Girls will spend the week dancing and moving, crafting and creating. They will picnic at camp. Participants will have tons of fun! Girls will also take a little time to pamper themselves. Who doesn’t love a mani or a pedi? The week will feature several girls-only field trips sure to be a hit.
