We will once again have the privilege of having Dakota County’s bison as neighbors. We don’t know yet if the bison will be in the paddox right next to camp during summer like they were in 2023, but we highly encourage you to check out the bison before then & learn more at Dakota County’s webpage with lots of awesome bison info:

Sunsetting Horse Camp
This we will be sun-setting our couple weeks of Colts & Buckaroos Horse Camp. Due to the time it takes out of campers’ days to bring campers all the way to Camp St. Croix for their riding time, and due to the difficulties of last summer when camp was not able to have as many horses for the summer as anticipated, Camp Spring Lake will not be offering any horse camps this summer. We highly encourage families who have enjoyed this program in the past, or who have campers who love horses, to look into horse camp at Camp DayCroix and/or Camp Gathering Pines for the summer of 2024.
