Women's Impact Trip

We are excited to announce our first ever Women's Impact Trip to the beautiful US Virgin Island of St. John! A joy-filled week of relaxing, exploring, connecting, playing, and service work in partnership with the Friends of the Virgin Islands and the National Park Service.

The experience is designed for women ages 25+ who are called to explore an amazing place while also providing some environmental service work within the National Park Service in a glorious beach side jungle on St. John.

New! Women's Impact Trip
March 30 - April 6, 2019
$650 per person. Travel expenses not included.
(Registration Deadline: January 15, 2019)

Location: US Virgin Islands - Cinnamon Bay Campground
The US Virgin Islands National Park is made up of breathtaking hills, valleys, beaches, turquoise water and sea life unlike anywhere else on the planet. US Virgin Islands National Park

We will be staying at Cinnamon Bay Campground in 5 platform tents that are reserved for service groups through the Friends of the Virgin Islands National Park. Platform Tents will be shared with 2-3 women in each tent.

Arrival on March 30: Arrange your travel to arrive to St. John during daylight hours on March 30. Most common travel arrangements are to fly into St. Thomas and take the ferry to St. John. We can help you with more details if needed. We will transport you from Cruz Bay, where you get off the ferry, to the campground.

March 31-April 5: Our service project will likely be trail work within the National Park trail system. Staff will transport us to our service site each day from approximately 8am-1pm. We will have one free day during the week (we will have an organized boat and snorkel excursion to Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke in the BVI that day!) Afternoons and evenings are available for us to explore the island and relax by the beautiful Caribbean waters!

April 6: Departure day - arrange your travel to depart from St. Thomas airport in the afternoon, in order to account for ferry travel from St. John and shuttle time to the airport.

Price Includes

  • Accommodations at Cinnamon Bay Campground - shared platform tents
  • Transportation on St. John
  • Breakfast and lunch/snacks each day (pack-out lunches on service days); Dinners are not included in the fee, but we will organize group dinners each night at Cinnamon Bay or elsewhere on the island for those interested.
