The winter season at Menogyn was one for the record books-- from December 27-March 7th there was a group in camp almost every day. We served over 400 participants from all over the country! The winter programming entails dog sledding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and winter hikes--all while staying in our heated cabins and eating home cooked Menogyn meals. The groups enjoyed ideal winter conditions, as there was plenty of snow all season long. Menogyn hosts two family camp weekends, but mostly works with organizations like Wilderness Inquiry, Friends of the BWCA, and local colleges who host their participants at Menogyn. A huge thank you to our winter staff of Liz Mattson, Cody Kirk, Eli Simmer, David Murphy, Rachel Nethercut, Sarah Bransford, Claire Flom-Staab and Matt Schmidt!
We are already filling up for 2019, so if you have a group interested in visiting Menogyn in the winter please email Mo Martin.
