Women's Wellbeing Retreat: Transitions

Are you on the parenting track with new issues at every turn? Facing an empty nest, job loss, retirement or the loss of a significant relationship? Transitions, whether unanticipated or planned can be unsettling, scary and exciting - sometimes all at once. 

Join like-minded women of all ages and delve into the common threads of transitions and the unique joys and challenges they present. We will explore strategies to recalibrate at each critical juncture along your life path. Small and large group activities and discussions, a fun dose of art, music, nature, moving our bodies indoors and out, and ample quiet and alone time gives you the time and space to reflect on where you are and how to move forward with greater clarity, purpose and joy.

  • 3 nights lodging - private rooms
  • 8 meals, snacks & beverages

For an additional fee:

  • Massage - Fee paid to the massage therapist at camp.
  • A day extension may be arrange after the retreat. No food service will be available during this time but cabins do have full kitchen facilities.

Meet Kim Keprios: Facilitator 

Kim brings her passion, creativity, energy and dedication to improving lives, bringing people and communities together and creating positive change. She demonstrated this throughout her successful 33 years as CEO of The Arc Greater Twin Cities and Arc's Value Village Thrift Stores and is doing the same in her encore career leading retreats and providing executive and life coaching. 

Kim holds a B.S. from the U of MN College of Education/Therapeutic Recreation; M.A. from the University of St. Thomas in Training & Development and Certification for Life Coach Practitioner from Learning Journeys International Center of Coaching. Kim received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the U of MN and received the 50 Women in Business Award from Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. She is a lifelong Minnesota resident, married and has three grown children, grand kids and lots of extended family and friends near and far who keep life entertaining and full!

A camper at heart Kim is a loyal YMCA member. In her words, "I am passionate about the YMCA's mission, the outdoors and opportunities to learn and grow through play and the quiet beauty of Mother Nature. I am delighted to be a partner with YMCA Camp du Nord in launching a new series of themed Women's Retreats in 2020. Starting with "Transitions" we will delve into topics of interest with women across all stages of life, with ample aha moments and laughter guaranteed. I look forward to this adventure with you!"
