I attended Camp Icaghowan in 1945. 46., 47 and 48 along with my life time friend Bob Fors. We are both 82 and just today spoke over the phone about how the camp was so good for our young lives. We both lived in Minneapolis and left for camp from there. The price was I think was $18.00. Bob still living there and I live in Palm Beach FL. I remember every word of every song we sang in the center as a fire blazed in the huge stone fireplace. Those four years started my athletic future in track and field. Thank you YMCA, the best start a kid could ever have.
