Weather Policies

At Camp Ihduhapi we believe that fun can be had in all weather! We encourage going outside in the rain, snow, heat, sleet, etc. However, sometimes weather can create unsafe conditions. In those cases the following policies apply:

Spring, Summer, Fall Policy: Team Building groups participate in outside elements rain or shine. In case of thunderstorms, groups are required to wait 30 minutes from the most recent thunderclap before resuming climbing. If the weather creates unsafe conditions for any other reason, the OLP Director will make a decision whether programming shall be held outside.

Winter Policy: High Ropes may be cancelled based off of OLP Directors assessment for safety. Typically, if the weather is under 5 degrees Fahrenheit or the wind chill is below -10 degrees Fahrenheit, outdoor programming will be cancelled or postponed. Low/Group initiatives will be moved indoors if the weather is deemed unsafe by the OLP Director.

If groups are unable to participate in team building activities as reserved due to weather, the group may rebook for a different date or receive a refund based off of the team building activities cancelled.
