Low Initiatives

Low ropes exercises are exciting, collaborative challenges that our staff tailors to meet the group’s needs. The ultimate goal is to provide a fun, safe environment in which your group can build trust and communication through teamwork.

  • Events take one to three hours to complete
  • Ages 4th grade and up

High Circuit Course

Our high circuit courses tower 35 feet above the ground, where participants access a series of platforms through various obstacles. Participants enter the course on a ladder and descend from the trees on a zip line.

  • Each event takes approximately three hours to complete
  • Ages 5th grade and up

Climbing Tower/Wall

The climbing tower is a 40-foot tower that participants can climb solo or connected to another climber. Climbers go as far as they can while being supported by the rest of the group.

  • Each event takes approximately three hours to complete
  • Ages 5th grade and up

Leap of Faith

The Leap of Faith Pole challenges individuals to set goals and build self-confidence as they climb. If they choose, climbers can jump from the top of a 30-foot pole with their safety systems. Ihduhapi has three Leap of Faith poles.

  • Each event takes approximately three hours to complete
  • Ages 5th grade and up

Giant’s Ladder

The Giant’s Ladder is a 30-foot “giant ladder”—anchored at the top but loose at the bottom. Participants climb in pairs and challenge themselves to climb as far as they can. Climbers must cooperate, support and trust their partners.

  • Each event takes approximately three hours to complete
  • Ages 5th grade and up

Commitment Bridge

Two participants climb 25 feet up a ladder and then out on a V-shaped cable using only each other for support. The pair travels as far as they can while the cables get farther apart. This is an excellent partnering and communication event. Ihduhapi has two Commitment Bridges.

  • Each event takes approximately three hours to complete
  • Ages 5th grade and up

High Ys

Two participants climb separate poles 25 feet high and work their way to each other on individual cables. Once they reach each other, they walk together on one cable to reach the third pole forming the “Y.” Ihduhapi has two High Ys.

  • Each event takes approximately three hours to complete
  • Ages 5th grade and up

Giant Zip Line

Participants climb a 40-foot ladder and then have the opportunity to “leap” down a 250-foot zip line. Participants learn to challenge themselves, reach past their own comfort zone and see past their limitations.

  • Each event takes approximately three hours to complete
  • Ages 5th grade and up

Adventure Hunt

A high-energy, highly motivated part of the team building day, the Adventure Hunt is an outdoor scavenger hunt that asks participants to use maps and clues to find different points around camp. The event culminates in an obstacle course.

  • Minimum 25 participants
  • Primarily for corporate groups
