Midwest Risk Management Symposium
The mission of the Midwest Risk Management Symposium is to provide an opportunity for outdoor educators of the Upper Midwest to collaborate and to contribute to the advancement of risk management practices.
***Please note- the dates for the 2020 MRMS have been changed to March 17-19***
The risks inherent in the adventure and experiential education fields require organizations to constantly assess their programs and stay up-to-date on the accepted industry standards. The Midwest Risk Management Symposium provides a cost-effective avenue for the sharing of information in the areas of program administration, staff training, and field practices. Through presentations, discussions, and workshops, we will utilize the experience and knowledge of leading industry professionals to present ideas, facilitate discussions, and be resources to those seeking the latest information on all facets of risk management.
YMCA Camps Manito-wish, Menogyn, and Widjiwagan are excited to host the 7th Annual Midwest Risk Management Symposium. Please join us to develop relationships with your peers in the industry and to contribute to the advancement of appropriate risk management practices. The Symposium will be held at Camp Manito-wish YMCA in Boulder Junction, WI beginning with registration and evening activities on March 17th. Symposium programming will continue on March 18th through the morning of March 19th, ending with our keynote panel in the early afternoon.
Consider joining us for this Symposium and ensure your organization is managing its risks intentionally.
