Teen Quest

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2019

Member Participants: $210/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $235/week

Weeks of June 10 – August 30 (No program July 4-5, fee prorated)

Teen Quest is an exciting day camp program geared toward teens that want total outdoor fun! As a group quest, you will decide and plan out many of the camp activities and events throughout the week. This program develops valuable life skills such as open communication, team building, cooperation and conflict resolution.

Teen Fishing Camp

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2019

Member Participants: $225/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $250/week

Weeks of July 8 and August 19

Lakes provide the scene for fishing fun using the catch-and-release method. You are encouraged to bring your own pole and tackle if you wish but equipment is available for use as well. This camp features a special trip on a voyageur canoe guided by the Wargo Nature Center.

Teen Climbing Camp

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2019

Member Participants: $255/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $280/week

Weeks of June 17, July 29 and August 12

Each day focuses on a new element or challenge including knot tying, safety and team work. This camp is designed to build self-confidence and teach valuable skills while enjoying an unforgettable adventure. This camp will feature two field trips. Spend one day at Camp St. Croix’s high teams challenge course and the highlight being a day trip at Taylors Falls for some classic outdoor top-rope climbing.

Teen Canoeing Camp

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2019

Member Participants: $210/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $235/week
Includes an Overnight Trip

Weeks of June 24, July 15 and August 5

Embark on a canoeing excursion full of adventure and challenges! Learn and master the skills of navigating along the St. Croix River. The highlight of the week includes an overnight canoeing trip on the St. Croix River.

Teen Archery Camp

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2019

Member Participants: $210/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $235/week

Weeks of June 24, July 15 and July 29

Fine tune your archery skills while learning new ones as well. Archery games and a friendly competition will be highlighted throughout the week. Instructors teach proper grip, stance and aim alignment. This camp will feature a field trip. Equipment is provided.

Teen Arts & Crafts Camp (NEW!)

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2019

Member Participants: $210/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $235/week

Week of July 22

You will discover your artistic side and let your imaginations soar. Create a variety of projects that may include: sketching, watercolors or paints, nature collages, picture frames, necklaces and bracelets, and much more. A field trip will be featured each week.

Teen Water Adventure

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2019

Member Participants: $255/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $280/week

Weeks of June 10, July 22 and August 19

It’s the hottest way to cool off this summer! Spend a full week enjoying an awesome array of water activities including canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and more! One day will be spent at a water park.

Teen Bike Camp

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2019

Member Participants: $210/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $235/week
Includes an Overnight Trip

Weeks of July 8 and August 12

We will explore the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes area on safe and fun bike paths. Campers learn basics around fixing and maintaining their bikes. Fat tire biking and off road experience provided by Wargo Nature Center. The highlight of the week includes an overnight bike trip at State Park. Campers must bring a bike and helmet. Bikes will be transported by a bus trailer and locked up at camp M – F.

Leaders In Training Camp

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2019

Member Participants: $315/session
Non-Member Program Participants: $340/session
*Includes overnight at Camp Heritage

Two-Week Sessions: Weeks of July 15 – 26 and August 12 – 23

Rise to the challenge in Leaders in Training Camp and discover your leadership qualities. You will learn and develop the necessary camp skills needed to lead camper activities, as well as group responsibility through activity planning. You will have opportunities to shadow counselors and assist staff in camp activities. There will be plenty of time to hang out with friends – new and old. Come experience camp from a whole new perspective!
