Teen Specialty Camps

Developing leadership qualities and abilities are important life-long ingredients. Our leadership camps develop the whole person — spirit, mind, and body — through a variety of service projects, hands-on activities, and team building exercises. Our leaders of tomorrow begin with our youth of today!

Teen Archery Camp

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2017

Member Participants: $195/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $220/week

Weeks of June 12, July 5* and August 14 (*No program July 3 – 4, fee prorated)

Fine tune your archery skills and learn new ones. Archery games will help you discover the science behind drawing the bow and releasing the arrow. Instructors will show you proper grip, stance, and aim alignment. You will also receive a lesson from the pros at A1 Archery in Hudson, WI. Equipment will be provided.

Teen Climbing Camp

Entering grades 7– 9 in fall, 2017

Member Participants: $265/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $290/week

Weeks of July 17 and August 7

Test your strength, strategy, and skill as you focus on a challenging high element each day. Learn and develop climbing skills, belay techniques, knot tying and climbing safety. Climbing takes place at Camp St. Croix in Hudson, WI. The remainder of day will be spent at Kumalya. You will get a chance to test your skills rock-climbing at Taylors Falls in the bluffs of the St. Croix River.

Teen Arts & Drama Camp 

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2017

Member Participants: $195/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $220/week

Weeks of July 10 and August 21

Take to the stage to learn and perform, participate in improve, act in theater skits, and create craft projects. You will also receive a backstage tour at Phipp’s Center for the Arts in Hudson, WI.

Leaders-In-Training

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2017

Member Participants: $300/two weeks
Non-Member Program Participants: $325/two weeks

June 19 –30, July 24 –August 4

Rise to the challenge in Leaders-in-Training Camp and discover your leadership qualities. You will learn and develop the necessary camp skills needed to lead camper activities, as well as group responsibility through activity planning. You will have opportunities to shadow counselors and assist staff in camp activities. There will be plenty of time to hang out with friends – new and old. Come experience camp from a whole new perspective!
