Wee Backpackers Water Safety Camp

Ages 4 to 5 years in fall, 2018

Member Participants: $215/week
Non-Member Program Participants $240/week

Weeks of July 9, July 23 and August 6

All of the wonderful outdoor adventures in the Wee Backpacker program plus swimming lessons! Each day Wee Bees will have a 40-minute progressive swimming lesson with certified swim instructors at the Woodbury YMCA focused on water safety skill-building. Little swimmers will also have time to play water games and swim at the beach. The remainder of the day will be spent enjoying traditional camp activities.

Learn to Swim Camp

Entering grades 1 – 3 in fall, 2018

Member Participants: $230/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $255/week

Weeks of June 25, July 16 and July 30

All of the outdoor adventures in the day camp program plus YMCA swimming lessons! Each day campers will have a 40-minute YMCA progressive swimming lesson with certified swim instructors at the Woodbury YMCA focused on water safety skill-building. Campers will also have time to play water games and swim at the beach. The remainder of the day will be spent enjoying traditional camp activities.

Canoeing Camp

Entering grades 4 – 6 in fall, 2018

Member Participants: $200/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $225/week

Weeks of June 11, July 2 and August 13 (No program July 4, fee prorated)

Campers learn paddling skills and canoe safety as they experience the challenge of navigating water! Kids learn to identify the parts of the canoe, paddling techniques and the importance of teamwork. An adventure on Eagle Point Lake will test the skills they’ve been working on all week.
