Teen Specialty Camps

Developing leadership qualities and abilities are important life-long ingredients. Our leadership camps develop the whole person — spirit, mind, and body — through a variety of service projects, hands-on activities, and team building exercises. 

Teen Archery Camp

Entering grades 6 – 8 in fall, 2017

Member Participants: $225/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $250/week

Weeks of June 19, July 10, July 31 and August 14

Fine tune your archery skills and learn new ones. Archery games will help you discover the science behind drawing and releasing the bow. Instructors will show you proper grip, stance and aim alignment. Equipment will be provided.

Teen Fishing Camp

Entering grades 6 – 9 in fall, 2017

Member Participants: $225/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $250/week

Weeks of July 24 and August 14

Get hooked on fishing as you learn basic fishing skills. Lakes provide the scene for fishing fun using the catch-and-release method. You are encouraged to bring your own pole and tackle if you wish but equipment is available for use as well. A Thursday overnight adventure on one of our lakes is the highlight of your week.

Teen Artist Camp

Entering grades 6 – 8 in fall, 2017

Member Participants: $225/week

Weeks of June 19, July 10, July 24 and August 7

Self-expression comes to life in this creative art camp! Your imagination becomes the window of discovery as you create original art. You will create masterpieces to take home and enjoy!

Leaders-In-Training

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2017

Member Participants: $280/two weeks
Non-Member Program Participants: $305/two weeks

Two-week Sessions: Weeks of June 19, July 17, July 31 and August 14

Rise to the challenge in Leaders-in-Training Camp and discover your leadership qualities. You will learn and develop the necessary camp skills needed to lead camper activities, as well as group responsibility through activity planning. You will have opportunities to shadow counselors and assist staff in camp activities. There will be plenty of time to hang out with friends – new and old. Come experience camp from a whole new perspective!

Teen Service Learning (NEW!)

Entering grades 6 – 9 in fall, 2017

Member Participants: $225/weeks
Non-Member Program Participants: $250/week

Weeks of June 26, July 17, July 31 and August 14

Grow your leadership and teambuilding skills, while bolstering self-confidence through giving back to the community. Earn volunteer hours and improve your skill set while actively participating in traditional camp activities like swimming, canoeing and kayaking, and high ropes course. Service projects take place at camp. You will receive a certificate with the number of service hours completed. It’s a win-win for you and the community!

Camp Leadership Corps (NEW!)

Entering grades 9 – 11 in fall, 2017

Member Participants: $300/three-weeks
Non-Member Program Participants: $325/three-weeks

Three-week session: Weeks of June 12 – 30, July 5 – 21, July 24 – August 4 and August 14 – September 1 (No program July 3 – 4, fee prorated)

Grow as a leader as you help counselors facilitate camp programs. CLC is designed to build community and provide mentoring and character development. Skills learned are transferrable to camp and non-camp jobs. Preferred qualifications: Completion of Leaders-In-Training or similar leadership program.

Applications are reviewed and interviews are scheduled on a rolling basis beginning February 1, 2017. Participants must be registered and have completed an application and two references prior to an interview being scheduled.
