Leaders-In-Training Camp

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2018

Member Participants: $305/two weeks
Non-Member Program Participants: $330/two weeks

Two-Week Sessions: June 18 – 29, July 23 – August 3 and August 6 – 17 (10 days/session)

Rise to the challenge in Leaders-in-Training Camp and discover your leadership qualities. You will learn and develop the necessary camp skills needed to lead camper activities, as well as group responsibility through activity planning. You will have opportunities to shadow counselors and assist staff in camp activities. There will be plenty of time to hang out with friends – new and old. Come experience camp from a whole new perspective!

Teen Digital Photography Camp (NEW!)

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2018

Member Participants: $215/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $240/week

Weeks of June 18, July 9, August 6, August 20 and August 27

Learn the basics of digital photography and be able to experience with both portrait and landscape photography. Each day will be a different theme. You must bring a digital camera. No phones please.

Teen Arts & Drama Camp

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2018

Member Participants: $215/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $240/week

Weeks of June 11 and July 30

Take to the stage to learn and perform, participate in improv, act in theater skits, and create craft projects. You will learn from staff of the Black Dirt Theater, our local theater company.

Teen Challenge Camp

For campers entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2018

Member Participants: $230/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $255/week

Weeks of July 9, July 16, July 23 and August 6

Strike out on a bold adventure as you test your strength, strategy, and skill against our high ropes challenge course. Learn about basic climbing, belay techniques, knot tying and climbing safety. Fun team challenge initiatives will aid in a successful climb. Most of the day is spent on the Challenge Course at a variety of Y camps.

Teen Archery/Slingshot Camp

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2018

Member Participants: $200/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $225/week

Weeks of June 11, July 2, August 13 and August 20 (No program July 4, fee prorated)

Two amazing and traditional target sports, the bow and arrow and the slingshot, are very popular today. Gain understanding and learn to properly use both safely. Learn to make and use your own targets, learn about different types of bows, and the basics of aiming and target shooting. Weather permitting Fridays will include testing your skills at a public archery range.

Teen Fishing Camp

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2018

Member Participants: $215/week
Non-Member Program Participants: $240/week

Weeks June 25, July 16 and August 13

Get hooked on fishing as you learn basic fishing skills. Lakes provide the scene for fishing fun using the catch-and-release method. You are encouraged to bring your own pole and tackle if you wish but equipment is available for use as well.

Entering grades 7 – 9 in fall, 2018

Non-Member Program Participants: $240/week

Weeks June 25 and July 30

Develop your camping skills as you work together to set up camp at Spring Lake. Learn a variety of useful camping skills that including: building a fire, shelters building, knot tying, campfire cooking, navigating maps and more!
