Kid & Teen Activities

Our programs for kids and teens promote wellness grounded in the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Workout Child Care

When you come to work out at the Rochester Y, consider bringing your children along for the fun that awaits them at Kids Stuff, the Y’s child care program. Children ages six weeks to 10 years can participate in age-appropriate activities in a safe environment—free for members. Kids must wear socks—no bare feet allowed. Reservations aren’t required, and your child can enjoy Kids Stuff for up to two hours a day while you are in the building. Contact 507-287-2260 for more information.

Sports

Kids learn teamwork and build skills through YMCA youth sports.

Birthday Parties

We have everything you need for a hassle-free birthday party at the Y. Options include fun and age-appropriate activities for kids.

Part-day Preschool

We offer school-release day options for kids in kindergarten through sixth grade at dozens of locations across the Twin Cities.

Y Mentors

Kids and adults are teamed up to do activities, give and receive ongoing support and get involved with the community.

Summer Programs

For the summer, children in preschool through eighth grade can enjoy a variety of enrichment programs.

Youth in Government

Kids in grades 7-12 can meet new people, make lasting friendships and have powerful conversations on important issues with programs like Model United Nations.

Parents night out

Enjoy an evening out and we’ll take care of your children with a pizza dinner and engaging activities at the Y. Contact 507-287-2260 for rates and 2018 dates. Download waiver form.

Conqueror’s Boxing

This youth-focused program offers more than boxing instruction—young people learn about faith, family, fitness and future.
