The Y is proud to offer eligible military Veteran individuals and families who are NEW to the YMCA a 20% discount on membership and a $0 enrollment fee. This temporary discount is made available through grant funding and is available for 6 months*.  The Service Matters Veteran discount has limited availability.

To qualify for this program, military Veterans and families must provide a non-redacted copy of their DD214.

The application process is easy and confidential.

  1. Download and complete the Service Matters Membership Application.
  2. Submit a non-redacted copy of their DD214.
  3. All documents listed above need to be emailed to Servicematters@ymcamn.org.
  4. Please allow 5-7 business days to get an email from the YMCA regarding your application.

*After 6 months, membership will automatically renew to a regular membership.
