The Y is made up of people of all ages and from every walk of life working side by side to strengthen communities. Together we work to ensure everyone, regardless of gender, income, faith, sexual orientation or cultural background, has the opportunity to live life to its fullest.
One of the most important aspects of building a global community is giving young people and adults opportunities to understand and celebrate diversity, and feel included.
With the funds we raise through donations, we help members of our local communities to develop cultural competencies and key skills to collaborate with their peers around the world through:
Y staff, volunteers and youth can participate in service learning opportunities on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation.
We offer kids, teens, and adults the integration support they need to better transition into, and engage with their new community.
Through formal partnerships, we support projects monetarily and provide human resources to help support our international peers.
