With a 150-year history of helping people learn to swim, the Y’s swimming classes are designed to teach this lifelong skill to kids and adults of all skill levels in a safe environment. Swimming lessons are offered seven days a week and at all 22 metro area locations.

Aquatics Leaders Club

Ages: 11 to 17 years

Hands-on experience for kids interested in future lifeguard or swim instructor positions at the Y

Water sports

Ages: Four to 18 years

Kids and teens discover the fun of sports like log rolling and snorkeling—swim classes vary by location

Adaptive lessons

Ages: Three to 12 years

Youth and adult lessons modified for individuals with special needs—parent or aid participation might be required and classes vary by location
