From birthday parties, exercise classes, adventures and more, the Y has everything you need to engage and entertain your family.

Birthday parties

Plan a hassle-free birthday party at the Y. Choose from two- and three-hour options that include kid-approved activities and features.

Free child care while you work out

Bring your kids to the Y while you work out and they’ll have a blast at Kids Stuff—and it’s free for members.

Exercise classes for kids and families

Introduce your kids to fitness through high-energy, fun classes the whole family will love—choose from strength, cardio, dance, yoga and water exercise classes.

Family-friendly Fitness Center

The Fitness Center at each YMCA includes cardiovascular and strength training machines, stretching areas, free weights and staff ready to help you get the most from your workout.

So that families can have a safe workout at the Y, kids ages seven to 17 need to attend a fitness orientation prior to using the Fitness Center. Members can attend a free orientation for families and youth that covers safe and age-appropriate fitness exercises and equipment. Sign up at the Member Services desk.

Youth and Family Fitness Cards

Kids and families can enjoy diverse workouts at the Y with family fitness cards and youth fitness cards. Every card outlines an entire workout, from warm-ups to cool down stretches, and is designed to last 20-30 minutes.

  • Family fitness cards detail workouts for families with kids ages seven and up.
  • Youth fitness cards are designed for members ages 10 and up who can workout at the Y without a parent or guardian.




Child care for an evening out

Parents Night Out events provide an opportunity for you to have an evening out, and for your children to have lots of fun with activities and games at the YMCA.
