Virtual groups give ForeverWell members an opportunity to join their favorite club, class or social group online. Using a secure technology platform, individuals may participate in the full video experience or simply call in to join in this interactive experience. Some examples of groups that may connect with virtually would be; Book Clubs, Arthritis Exercise Groups, Knitting Clubs, BINGO groups, Writing Clubs, Hiking Clubs, and more! Stay socially connected with your friends, make new friends and keep up with your Y groups, or join new ones!

Staying active mentally, physically and spiritually is more important now than ever.  The new Health and Wellbeing Virtual Classes are designed to keep you moving, thinking and engaging. Using the technology platform Zoom, you will find many class options to get connected with others and feel your best.  Click on the Register link below to join your favorite class or simply call in using the Call-in number, meeting ID and password. Please note that we recommend the ability to view the presenter for the Health and Wellbeing classes.

Group Exercise classes

These classes are designed specifically for older adults—and they are free for Y members. There’s no need to register ahead of time—join classes at any time.

Small Group Training classes

Sign up to work out with four to eight other participants and a Personal Trainer in a specialty class—these are not included with Y membership and require an additional fee. Classes run on a seven-week schedule and vary by location:

More options to get active and stay healthy

Whether you’re looking for individualized attention or are interested in group coaching, Personal Training programs include a variety of options to meet your needs and support your path to a healthy lifestyle.

Y membership includes free meetings with fitness professionals to help you feel more comfortable at the YMCA.

  • Fitness Solution—meet with a Personal Trainer for an hour to discuss your fitness, nutrition and wellness goals, and learn more about the Y services that will help you meet these goals.
  • Orientation—join a group of fellow older adults for an introductory session on how to make the most of your Y experience. After orientation, expect to feel more confident and safe during workouts.

You might be eligible for a free membership at the Y if your insurance includes the SilverSneakers® or Silver&Fit program or Renew Active™. Participating insurance companies include:
