Growing up at the Y

Kids create memories, learn skills and build confidence as they explore new interests and passions at the Y. We're committed to helping all kids and teens be their best selves—through programs focused on sports, arts, leadership and family fun.

The Y offers year-round sports and fun for kids of all ages and skill levels. Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning a sport or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, sports at the Y are about building the whole child, from the inside out.

Arts & Humanities

We celebrate diversity and the arts everywhere at the Y. In our arts and culture classes, kids develop a newfound confidence and increased self-awareness as they express themselves through creative activities like crafts, cooking, language and theater.

Summer Youth Programs

Summer Power, Uproar and Summer Sports provide full-day summer enrichment for kids in Preschool – Grade 8.

Teen Leadership

For our young people, the right guidance and support can make a real difference in figuring out who they are and what they can achieve. The Y is committed to nurturing teens and college students to help them grow strong roots for success.

The Y promotes and provides access to healthy lifestyles for all children and adults, including those with special needs. We emphasize each person's abilities and individuality to encourage physical and mental growth, while working to build social skills.

Family Fun & Fitness

Coming to the YMCA as a family has so many benefits—from staying fit to learning new skills and more. The Y is dedicated to providing a safe space for birthday parties, fitness, youth activities and special events that encourage the whole family to enjoy a healthy lifestyle.

Teens can make a difference as YMCA volunteers—in an ongoing role, or at a one-time event.

Financial assistance

Special rates are available for those who meet income requirements—everyone is welcome to apply to participate in kid and teen activities. Learn more
