Swim Lessons provide important life skills that could save a life, and will benefit you for a lifetime. All YMCA swim instructors are nationally certified and are trained in CPR, AED, First Aid and Oxygen Administration.

Learn to swim with group lessons

  • Members: $47 for seven-class session
  • Non-members: $102 for seven-class session

Parent and Child

Ages: Six months through three years

With a parent in the pool, infants and toddlers learn to be comfortable in the water and develop swim-readiness skills. Parents learn about water safety and drowning prevention.

Preschool Child

Ages: Three through five years

Kids learn safe water habits, underwater exploration, how to swim to safety and exit the water. Lessons are a mix of activities, games and drills.

School-Age Child

Ages: Five through 12 years

Starting with water safety and basic swimming competency, kids progress to learn about the four competitive swimming strokes.

Teen & Adult

Ages: 13 years and up

Teens and adults can begin with water safety and continue on to learn and refine skills in the four competitive swimming strokes.

Thirty-minute private swimming lessons can be scheduled one-on-one , with a buddy or sibling and are customized to best meet your needs.
