Meet the UY Student Community!
Learn about UY students and how they are facilitating and advocating for positive healthy lifestyles and ways to Stamp Out the Stigma regarding brain and mental health, on and off campus.
Learn how 15 teams of UY mentors make a difference in the life of young people from Kindergarten to 6th grade in afterschool programs in the Twin Cities.
Learn how a team of student leaders and peer mentors will serve 30 first year underrepresented students through our Y Collegiate Achiever Program. Y CAP meets weekly, on Thursdays (starting 10/3) from 430-630 on the 3rd floor of the UY. The gatherings will be full of resources (money management, stress management etc), celebrations and support dialogues. February will offer a Learn to Network event AND throughout the school year Y CAP alum will be appearing to share their journey with the first year students!
The UY offers students opportunities to develop workforce readiness skills and leadership by engaging in project based internships each semester. Students learn scope of working within a non-profit, branding, communications and more!
