Personal Consultation

  • Meet one-on-one with a Personal Trainer for an hour
  • Discuss your fitness, nutrition and wellness goals, and learn more about the Y services that will help you meet these goals
  • Free with Y membership

Fitness Assessment

  • Meet one-on-one with a Personal Trainer for 30 minutes
  • Get an assessment of your current physical state so that you can measure progress as you work toward your goals
  • It’s a good idea to schedule a Fitness Assessment after you’ve had a Personal Consultation
  • Free with Y membership

Metabolic Assessment

  • Meet one-on-one with a Personal Trainer for one hour to identify your metabolic rates while resting and while exercising
  • Get a report on how many calories you burn daily, plus recommendations for how to achieve optimized nutrition and exercise results
  • To prepare for your assessment:
    • In the four hours before your appointment, don’t eat or drink anything (other than water), and don’t exercise
    • Don’t use nicotine for one hour before your appointment
    • Continue to take any prescribed medications

  • Classes run on a seven-week schedule—choose from 30-, 45- or 60-minute options

Flex Training

  • Work out with four to eight other participants and a Personal Trainer
  • You and your small group will participate in a specialty class
  • Classes have a flexible start and end dates—choose from 30-, 45- or 60-minute options

Lighter U

  • Meet with six to 12 other participants and a Personal Trainer
  • Learn about nutrition and mental wellness during a weight-loss journey, and participate in physical activities
  • Meet once a week for 75 minutes for 12 weeks
  • Cost is $249 for members, $299 for non-members

Wellbeats

  • Kids ages three to 14 who are signed in at Kids Stuff or Child Care can participate in fun, age-appropriate Group Exercise classes
  • An instructor is on-screen leading the class, with an in-person facilitator to assist kids in each activity

Workout on your own

Get the information you need for a safe and effective self-guided workout. These offerings are free with Y membership.

Equipment Orientation

  • Meet one-on-one with a Personal Trainer for 30 minutes—sign up at Member Services
  • Get an overview of how to use basic equipment and machines in the Fitness Center
  • After orientation, expect to feel more confident and safe during self-guided workouts
  • Focused orientations available for older adults and kids ages seven to 17

Youth Fitness Cards

  • Pick up a pre-planned workout card from Member Services
  • Get an age-appropriate plan that families and kids age seven and up can follow at your own pace—includes exercises from warming up to cooling down
