Metabolic Assessment
- Meet one-on-one with a Personal Trainer for one hour to identify your metabolic rates while resting and while exercising
- Get a report on how many calories you burn daily, plus recommendations for how to achieve optimized nutrition and exercise results
- To prepare for your assessment:
- In the four hours before your appointment, don’t eat or drink anything (other than water), and don’t exercise
- Don’t use nicotine for one hour before your appointment
- Continue to take any prescribed medications

Youth Equipment Orientation
- Focused orientations designed for kids ages seven to 17
- Meet in a small group with a Personal Trainer for 30 minutes—sign up at Member Services
- Get an overview of how to use basic equipment and machines in the Fitness Center
- After orientation, expect to feel more confident and safe during self-guided workouts
