Overview

Summer Power is a flexible full-day enrichment program focused on quality, small group, age-appropriate activities. Kids stay active with swimming, group games and weekly field trips. We provide a healthy living experience by educating on healthy food choices and the right balance of physical activity. Kids engage in a variety of values-strengthening activities including core elements of science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM), and service projects.

June 10 – August 30, Monday – Friday (No program July 4 & 5)

Program Hours: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Drop-off: 6:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.
Pick-up: 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Customize your child’s summer to fit the needs of your family. Enroll your child for the whole summer, choose a few weeks, or mix it up even more with full and partial weeks.

Choose from 3-, 4- or 5-day options.

  • $195 – 3 days/wk.
  • $239 – 4 days/wk.
  • $269 – 5 days/wk.

Registration Fee – $50 per child, one-time fee, non-refundable. Weekly fee includes all field trip admissions, open swimming, program t-shirt and program supplies. All fees are per child, per week of attendance.

There’s always something fresh and new at Summer Power. Exciting themes guide the weekly activities to keep kids engaged and learning new things.

Please note: these are just a sample of the themes available during Summer Power. Actual themes for each week may vary based on program dates and location and are subject to change.

June 10-14: Petite Picassos – Find the artist in you through a mixture of artistic creations as we learn about painting, sculpting, drawing, and collage making. We can’t wait to see all the hidden talent…who knows, you might be the next Picasso!

June 17-21: Barnyard Palooza – Cock-a-doodle-doo! Life on the farm has never been this much fun! Join us for an exciting week of farm themed activities including games, crafting, and more. 

June 24-28: Splash and Dash – Beat the summer heat with splash-tacular fun! Get soaked in this water-filled week of swimming, water balloon games, water relays, and more! 

July 1-3: Rockin’ Sock Hop – Stomp your feet and move to the beat! This week we will be movin’ and groovin’ to the music, doing music related crafts and games, and having a dance party! 

July 8-12: Destination USA – An unforgettable adventure awaits you in this week of summer fun! We will participate in activities that celebrate our country and community, show pride in our citizens, culture, and land. 

July 15-19: Too Fit to Quit – On your mark, get set, go! It’s non-stop fun as we get moving with a week full of games & activities that focus on having fun, developing sportsmanship, and learning how to stay active! 

July 22-26: Navigating Nature – The great outdoors beckons you during this fun-filled week complete with bugs, nature crafts, outdoor scavenger hunts, nature hikes, and more! Be prepared to be amazed by the wonderful world around us! 

July 29-August 2: Eco Week – This week we’ll teach the kids how to be aware and responsive citizens of their community and earth. Find out what it means to “go green” as we learn about recycling and make projects from reusable materials. 

August 5-9: Traveling Tourist – Become a tourist as we explore our fine metro area! We’ll spend the week learning about Minnesota and visiting local tourist attractions & parks. 

August 12-16: Outta This World – What does the future hold? We will ask this question and more as we attempt to unlock the secrets of the universe. Get ready to expand your minds and dream beyond the limits of today’s world.  

August 19-23: Kids on the Move – It’s fun to be healthy! We will keep the kids moving this week and reinforce the importance of a healthy lifestyle. We’ll provide physical activity and encourage healthy eating habits through fun nutrition lessons. 

August 26-30: Endless Summer – Celebrate the end of summer! Let’s keep the summer going forever by playing our favorite outdoor games, joining in on water activities, and continuing to explore the cities we live in.
