This class is about improving your strength and stamina through a rugged workout. Class consists of sports drills, weights, jumping rope, boxing, circuits and interval training.

  • Kids ages 10 – 14 may attend with a parent or guardian
  • Teens age 15+ may attend unaccompanied by an adult

A Typical Class

This is a freestyle class based on the needs of the class and style of instructor. Class sites include the gym, studio or outdoors depending on season. Team activities may be included in this class.

  • This class requires you to be physically active and have freedom of movement

Equipment Needed

  • BOSU® exercise ball
  • Weights, hurdles, boxing bags, bands
  • The Y provides all equipment for this class

Attire and What to Bring

  • Come to class dressed and ready to move your body
  • Loose-fitting, functional clothing made of breathable material to allow air flow
  • Proper gym shoes, comfortable fit, good stability
  • Water, towel
